ATME College of Engineering (ATMECE), Mysuru, established in 2010, is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. It was founded with the objective of providing modern education supported by cutting-edge technology. ATMECE offers undergraduate programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CSE (AI-ML), CSE (Data Science), CSE (Computer Science and Design), CSE (Cyber Security), Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and BCA. The Institute also offers postgraduate programs in MCA and MBA.
Within a short span, the Institute has carved a niche for itself by offering quality technical education. It has been accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Additionally, the Departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). ATMECE has been rated GOLD by QS I-GAUGE for Overall Excellence. The Institute has also been recognized as one of the SWACH Institute by the Government of India. Recently, in the All-India Times Engineering Ranking Survey 2025, the Institute was ranked 142nd at the national level. ATMECE has additionally been ranked Silver in the Sustainable Institutions of India (SII) Green India Rankings 2025.
The college actively promotes research, skill development, and interdisciplinary learning through laboratories, innovation centers, and funded projects. One such initiative includes the development of educational modules and virtual labs in the area of Cybersecurity in Power Systems, supported through funding from AICTE under the AICTE – Modernization and Removal of Obsolescence (MODROB) Scheme. These initiatives aim to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and practical competencies among engineering students.
